You know that feeling after you see a really impactful, moving concert, one you've been waiting years to experience? When the whole ride home you listen to the songs they played, and the songs you wished they'd played, and you can visualize what it might be like, and what it was actually like, being there?
When you buy the over priced t-shirt that you really don't have the money for, just to commemorate that you were physically present for the experience and you wear it the very next day, while you continue listening to the music of the artist, hoping to hold on to pieces of it in a tangible way?
How the same rush of emotion that was felt as they began to strum the first cords of a song that has "really gotten you through some things" wash over you again when it enters your earphones for the first time after having seen and heard it played live, sending familiar and welcomed shivers through your spine and a instant reactionary smile to your unassuming lips?
Some things just resonate loud and deep, reminding you that you are, in fact, alive.
